A short hike from the Orote Airfield at the furthest dockpad, you will head through an overgrown taxiway, through a short jungle crossing until you come across a sign that informs you of a 320m hike along limestone forest to the crash site. Upon arriving at the crash site you will see the fuselage itself perched on broken limestone rocks rusting away in the rain and humidity.

Little is known about this particular aircraft as there was no serial numbers in good enough shape to discern its origin or lifetime. All records pertaining to its last flight in the 1940's were lost to a fire at the administrative building. It has been verified that this is a crash site as where the fuselage lays is 200 yards away from the actual airfield itself.
Date of Crash: 01/01/1940

Aircraft Model: F4U Corsair

Military or Civilian: Military

Cause of Crash:
Unknown. Crash is located onboard Naval Base Guam, civilians require a military member to escort them for the hike.
