This house presumably built in 1859 apparently was owned by Loretto Lamar Calder (1853-1933). Lorretto was married to Samual Douglas Calder (1848-1998). Loretto was the daughter of historic Texan, Mirabeau Buonaparte Lamar (16 August 1798 - 19 December 1859).

It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.
