Verden Cemetery is located on the south side of town, and contains approximately 1050 burials. This WOW marker is a red granite slab, mounted on a horizontal slab. The sides of the marker are rough cut. The engraving has the traditional WOW seal, with palm-like leaves along each side.

The inscription reads:

Ambrose Young
Born
July 28, 1867
Died
Aug. 29, 1907
Gone from our home
But not from our harts [sic]
YOUNG
