Transition Town - Deventer, NL - Hand Operated Water Pumps on Waymarking.com

This area used to be an open air ice skating track but had been demolished. After that the site lay waste for about a decade and so became an unpleasant place.
Now the land is now used by the 'Anders wonen' community and the site is called 'Transition Town'. The water is used to irrigate approximately 40 vegetable gardens in the immediate vicinity .
