Carrie Ellen Brosseau Pringle was born on 16 January 1904 in Stone County and lived most of her life in the Crane community. She had been a housekeeper for a retirement home before she retired. The last 2.5 years of her life were spent in Texas, where she passed away at over 101.5 years old on 25 July 2005.
