The webcam is mounted on the west end of the old gambrel roofed barn with stone foundation at the east end of the long wooden wall of the fortification, looking west.

The wall runs east and west across in front of the buildings of the fortress. Stand just to the west of the nearest passage way through the wall and get your picture taken.
Eighteenth century in origin, Louisburg Fort is a Canadian National Heritage Site. Rebuilt and operated by Parks Canada, it is a major visitor attraction.
