[FR] La brasserie fut inaugurée le 1er avril 1895. En 1964, elle est transformée en self-service au gré d'un changement de propriétaire3, mais les lieux sont protégés contre toute dégradation par le classement aux Monuments historiques. Menacée d'être abandonnée durant les années 1970, elle retrouve sa destination de brasserie en 1982.
[EN] In 1964, the restaurant was converted into a fast food restaurant. In order to protect the building from any alteration or destruction by the owner the place was classified as a French national heritage site.
In 1982 under the leadership of new owners, the restaurant became a brasserie again and a complete restoration was organized with the help of the the French national heritage site organization.
