This zinc obelisk has funeral draping around the apex, and roses around the center. The main panel shows a set of clasped hands, and below an inscription:

Anderson
Boggs,

Born April 11,
1812,

Departed this life
Feb. 9, 1874.

The family name, "Boggs", is on the plinth. The second panel shows two individual women, each with a sign of hope: One clings to a cross for salvation, while the other stands with an anchor. On the plinth is "Gone from our home, but not from our hearts." The third panel has no lettering, but the symbol of the Order of the Eastern Star is featured. The remaining panel has the familiar compass and square of the Freemasons, and below it, a sheaf of wheat, denoting harvest, along with an epitaph on the plinth, "Dear father, with a reverent hand this to thy memory given, while one by one thy household band God reunites in Heaven."
