Hawthorn is a borough in Clarion County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 494 at the 2010 census.

Hawthorn is located in southeastern Clarion County on the north side of Redbank Creek, a west-flowing tributary of the Allegheny River. The creek forms the boundary with Armstrong County to the south.

Pennsylvania Route 28 passes through the borough, leading southwest (downstream) 4 miles to New Bethlehem and northeast 9 miles to Summerville.
