"The Grand Mesa Visitor Center, located on the Grand Mesa, is a great place to learn about the ecology and geology of the Grand Mesa. Helpful staff are available from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. everyday to answer your questions and provide recommendations to enhance your visit. If you have time, join the visitor center staff for a nature hike, or listen to a presentation by some local experts on wildlife, wildflowers, birds, mushrooms, or our thriving population of moose!
