The disaster from 9 Mai 1987, the crush of aircraft Il-62M SP-LBG Tadeusz Kosciuszko has caused 187 casualties.

To memorize that disaster the big metal cross was founded, together with the memorial table on a big stone. They are located on a little clearing in south part of Kabaty forest.
