Der Schiffstunnel in Weilburg war der erste Tunnel dieser Art in Deutschland. Er wurde im Jahre 1847 eröffnet und bildet eine Abkürzung für die Lahnschleife um Weilburg. Der Tunnel ist 195m lang.

This tunnel was especially built for ships. The length is 195m, the tunnel was opened in 1847. The tunnel is a shortcut for the loop of the river Lahn around the city of Weilburg.
