Modern welcome center and rest area built to resemble Civil War-era building common to the Tennessee and southern regions. There are several monuments, including Blue Star Highway designations and an Amvets Memorial to all veterans.
Of additional note is a three-dimensional abstract figure sculpture by Philip Van Der Weg located just to the north of the Information Center.
There is also an interactive Civil War exhibit, and various historic markers.
