The Lassen County Clerk and Recorder’s office will be closed tomorrow, February 22nd, from 9:00 until approximately 1:30 to allow employees to attend funeral services for long time fellow employee Emma Freeman, who passed away at her home in Susanville on February 15th, at the age of 84.
Emma worked continuously in the Lassen County Recorder’s office for more than 63 years; she was dearly loved and will be deeply missed.
A viewing for Emma Freeman will be held today from 2:00 until 6:00 at Walton’s Colonial Mortuary, 115 S. Lassen Street. Rosary will follow at 7:00p.m.
Funeral Mass for Emma Freeman will be held Tuesday morning at 10:00 in Monsignor Moran Hall, at the corner of North and Weatherlow streets, with burial to follow at the Lassen Cemetery on Chestnut Street.
