The Western Bohemian Fraternal Union Hall, also known as National Hall of Meadowlands, was built in 1925 to serve as a meeting place for the Czech community and offered programs to help preserve their culture. This wood frame Sokol hall was place to gather for physical, cultural, social and educational programs and offered a place for activities such a gymnastics, concerts, talent shows, conventions, flea markets, private parties and receptions. It was placed on NRHP in 1986. The building is still used by the community in the summer, but the building still lacks restrooms or running water.
