Former Cornelius Platt House. 1131 Grand, 1901. This 2 1/2 story Classical Revival home is constructed of Carthage marble. Mr. Platt was an associate of Mr. Leggett. Mr. Joe Prather of Carthage designed both homes.

The house appears to be in good condition and well-maintained. It continues to serve as a private residence.
