Thorncrown Chapel is located in the beautiful Ozark Mountains. Inside the chapel the view of the sky and surrounding trees is one you will not forget. Even if you are not planning a wedding, the Thorncrown Chapel is a must see when in the area. We have visited many places, and have not found anything to equal its beauty.
Thorncrown has hosted weddings for over 30 years. They provide a minister, a chapel host and the chapel music minister is available to play the piano and sing at your wedding.
The chapel seats up to 100 guests. The facilities include a changing area with a full length mirror, a first class sound system, and a piano. With the unique acoustics of Thorncrown Chapel, listening to live or recorded music is a special experience.
Thorncrown Chapel rises 48 feet into the sky with over 6,000 square feet of glass and 425 windows.
The chapel is made with all organic materials to fit its natural setting. The building has a native flagstone floor surrounded with a rock wall which gives the feeling that the chapel is part of its Ozark hillside.
