St Lawrence's Anglican Church was constructed of beige brickwork, rendered and rough cast concrete with orange terracotta roof tiles in 1957 in the Post-War Ecclesiastical style. The foundation stone was laid by the Governor, Sir Charles Gairdner, on 28 April 1957 and the building was consecrated on 15 September of the same year.
