As described by the NGS in 1973 (although originally monumented by the US Coast and Geodetic Survey, aka "CGS", back in 1954):
"0.9 MI SE FROM HOCKLEY.
ABOUT 0.9 MILE SOUTHEAST ALONG US HIGHWAY 290 FROM THE JUNCTION OF US HIGHWAY 290 AND HEGAR RD., AT THE BADTKE RD. CROSSING, SET IN THE TOP EAST END OF THE NORTH CONCRETE HEADWALL TO A 2-CHANNEL BOX CULVERT UNDER THE RAILROAD, 68.2 FEET SOUTH OF THE CENTER LINE OF US HIGHWAY 290, 36 FEET EAST OF THE CENTER LINE OF BADTKE RD., 9.5 FEET NORTH OF THE NORTH RAIL, 1 FOOT WEST OF THE EAST END OF THE NORTH HEADWALL, AND ABOUT 2 FEET BELOW THE LEVEL OF THE RAILS."
The 1973 description and associated reference points (i.e. distances/directions) are still good references for locating this station; just one minor correction might be in order:
* US Hwy 290 has been expanded/relocated since then, the listed highway and distance (i.e. "68.2 FEET SOUTH OF THE CENTER LINE OF US HIGHWAY 290") is now just the FRONTAGE/FEEDER road of that highway... This frontage road is sometimes also referred to as "Old Hempstead Hwy".

Likewise, most the recently posted NGS Data Sheet's coordinates seemed to match perfectly with my own personal observations: it states "N 30 01 18.78 W 095 49 54.81", which was in line with my findings as measured with 10' accuracy and 10+ reading averages: N 30° 01.313 W 95° 49.914"
