As of this posting, Hopewell might as well be called "Hopeless." It has been in a wild state for some time, and due to its location off of the county road, there is trash dumping outside the cemetery fence. Beware of wildlife, including dogs and snakes, and there are many holes and depressions here where one risks injury.

The family name, "Terry", is on both sides of the headstone. The front has the name near the base, with "A precious one from us has gone, a voice we love is stilled" above it, with floral decoration to the side of the Woodmen Circle emblem. On the reverse, the family name is near the top, with the following inscription:

Dora Bell
Apr. 18, 1863
Sept. 4, 1916

Wm. Byron
July 17, 1862
Sept. 9, 1946
Was the inscription legible?: Yes
