General Jose de San Martin and Army of Independence Memorial (Monumento al General San Martín y a los Ejércitos de la Independencia) is landmark of Plaza San Martín (San Martín Square) in Buenos Aires district Retiro.

The General Jose de San Martin Memorial is an equestrian statue memorial of Argentine general and independence leader José de San Martín. The memorial is composed from General José de San Martín bronze equestrian statue standing on polished red granite pedestal, and four bronze sculptural groups of his soldiers symbolizing four milestones in his fight for South-American independence (Crossing of Andes, Liberation of Peru, Battle at Salto and Battle of Montevideo). The memorial, the first Argenitian equestrian statue (work of French artist Louis Joseph Daumas), was unveiled in July 13, 1862. The memorial was reshaped in 1910, when other sculptures were added (German sculptor Gustav Eberlein).
