The Mundaring cemetery is located on the Eastern outskirts of the town site and was created on May 4th.1906 and gazetted on October 22nd.1909. The cemetery contains approx 900 graves including those of pioneers of the district though one of the oldest is that of Albert Henry Lemmey aged 3 buried in 1916. The cemetery was closed to new burials in 2008, but memorial walls have been built for the placement of ashes .
The Mundaring Cemetery is located on Yarri Grove Mundaring just off Great Eastern Highway and Railway Terrace, adjacent to where the railway line once crossed the highway.
