Combined WWI and WWII Memorial – Knežice, Czech Republic - World War I Memorials and Monuments on Waymarking.com

The sandstone memorial consist of statue of a sleeping lion and a small obelisque, where 26 names of local victims of WW I are engraved. Later, after WW 2 another 4 names were engraved on a pedestal of the memorial to honour victims of the village citizens killed during Nazi occupation of Czechoslovakia and World War II (1939-1945). The names engraved on the memorial are:
