Blasterz were fascinated with the way that Bermudian burial grounds appear. We thought that Bermudians might bury their dead above ground, much like they do in New Orleans. However, a Bermudian friend of ours told us that Bermudians do bury their dead 6 feet underground, however the burial custom is to erect a solid square monument above ground completely covering the grave so that no one can ever walk on the grave. This is seen as a sign of deep respect.
Blasetrz estimate that there are about 300 people buried here. Some graves hold multiple members of the same family.
