The long Maestri Bridge carries LA State Highway 11 across Lake Ponchartrain between Slidell and New Orleans LA. There are two bascule spans on this long bridge.

The nearly 5-mile long Maestri bridge can be seen from the I-10 westbound into New Orleans. The waymark coordinates are for the northern end bascule span near Slidell. This small bascule span is near a larger truss span for the Norfolk Southern Railroad.
