This beautiful mural is located in the southern part of the city of Essen, Witteringstraße/Rellinghauser Straße. It is called "Grüne Lunge", and the artist is Ben Mathis from Düsseldorf.
In this jungle scenery you can find a lot of animals, which are living in the rainforest of South-America. There are some Ara´s, snakes and apes in the higher regions and on the ground you can see two armadillos (Gürteltiere) and an impressive jaguar.
