In 1974, a farmer was digging a well for water notice pieces of clay shaped like figures, this was the start of the greatest archaeological discoveries in the world. The bits and pieces of clay when put together formed The Terracotta Warriors.

These figures of solders, chariots, and horses were created for the sole purpose, and that is to protect the Emperor Qin Shi Huang Di (The First Emperor Of China) in his afterlife.

Anyone that desires to go deeper into this subject I recommend that they go to their local library. My local library has 10 books available on the Terracotta Warriors.
