With the hight of 118 meters this tower is the second-tallest wooden structure in the world and was built in 1934. It became popular in 1939 when the German SS staged an polish attack on her own Gliwice radio station, which was later used as justification for the Invasion of Poland. Just a view hours later the invasion of poland get started.
Since the first of januar in 2005 the Gliwice radio station is an museum.
