US hwy no longer goes through town, so it is crumbling. IN the Google map you can see the brick buildings being torn down

About a block square and not much more than a green space next to the post office and in the center for what once was a downtown.

The park central item is a square gazebo dedicated to the former Stae Representative from this district (District 8), Gary Wiggins , who passed away from cancer in 2001.
Also a dedicated tree (bush?), to a class mate who passed in 2000 - SAUNDRA OSMAN GILPIN
