The drugstore was on the corner of West Main and South First. The mural is on the west side of the building.

The McIntyre drugstore was in business from the mid1890s to 1944 when it was sold to Mr. Harkness. The sign was restored in the late 1990s by Mr. Milton Fleming. Mrs. Teen Donahue was the driving force in the restoration. The Coca-Cola Co. gave a grant.
