The Immanuel Episcopal Church on the Green was constructed originally in 1703. The clock was added to the tower in 1822. The current clock was placed in 1982 during the restoration of the church following a devastating fire in 1980. The clock has faces on all sides of the tower. Each has a black face with gold colored hands, Roman numerals and minute tick marks.
