Lorene Stotts was born on 19 August 1900 to James Edward and Dessie R. Stotts. She passed away a few months more than 100 years old on 20 November 2000. Within her lifetime she saw automobiles replace horses and wagons as the common personal conveyance, tractors and other large farm equipment replacing the mule and plow, and computers and satellite communication become far more prevalent than the personal written letter.
