Completed in 1935, the Polson City Hall was a WPA project. It was followed in Polson by construction of a new jail and fire house adjacent to the city hall. The city hall is a single story concrete block structure with brick façade. In the rear is the Polson Police Station and set back from the street, adjoining city hall on its north side, is the 1935 Fire Hall. They are all on the west side of First Street East, just north of Second Avenue, which is Highway 93. First Street is two blocks east of the bridge over the Flathead River carrying Highway 93 into Polson from the west.
