Located in the heart of Oakridge is a classic-style A&W which has been a fixture in the community since the early 1960s, as evidenced by the vintage photos hanging on a wall inside. This franchise still has the car-hop service like the older adults will remember, a rarity for an A&W franchise these days. A Subway was built next door a number of years ago but this A&W still outshines its competitor and beckons the weary traveler to stop in for a burger, fries and a root beer float.
