EN: St. Peter and Paul is the Roman Catholic parish church of Vals. It is located in the center of the village inside a chirchyard with the adjoining cemetery.

The church is approximately aligned to the south and has two differently shaped side chapels. The church was first mentioned in 1451, maybe this one already had a precursor. A gothic construction from the period around 1500 was transformed into an early baroque church from 1640-1643. The nave was completely dismatled and rebuilt rotated 90 degrees to the old location. The Gothic choir was canverted to the east side chapel. The western side chapel was built in 1711, and in 1896 the nave was extended to the north. In 1964 the entire church was renovated, in 1984 the exterior and 1992 the interior.

Die Kirche ist ungefähr gegen Süden ausgerichtet und hat zwei unterschiedlich grosse Seitenkapellen. Die Kirche wurde 1451 erstmals erwähnt, möglicherweise gab es auch von diesem Bauwerk schon Vorläufer. Ein gotischer Neubau aus der Zeit um 1500 wurde 1640 bis 1643 zu einer frühbarocken Kirche umgebaut. Das Schiff wurde komplett abgebrochen und um 90° gedreht wieder aufgebaut. Der gotische Chor wurde zu der östlichen Seitekapelle. Die westliche Seitenkapelle wurde 1711 angebaut, und 1896 wurde das Schiff nach Norden verlängert. 1964 wurde die ganze Kirche renoviert, das Äusser 1984 und das Innere 1992.
