The rear Weidenthaler Teufelstisch one of the scenic landmark of the Palatinate, and is also the subject of a local legend. 1947, the rock was featured on a stamp Rhineland-Palatinate.

At the Devil's Table is a so-called free-standing tower whose weight is estimated at 284 tons. It is a sandstone rock, reminiscent of a one-legged table. Erosion by the surrounding softer surface components were removed, while the hard core rock stopped. Thus, an oversized "table top" of about three meters thickness now lying across an equally massive "table leg" of about eleven meters in height. This foot has a partially crumbly stratification. He has bizarre projections and runs to the southwest side pointed like a ship's keel to. Especially in Dahn how to southeast incipient region is called so striking rock formations are quite common.
