This stone arch bridge crosses the river Tet in the medieval town of Villefranche de Conflent.

"VILLEFRANCHE-DE-CONFLENT : verrouillant un point de passage, l'enceinte urbaine est profondément remaniée par Vauban à partir de 1669 et n'a guère changé d'aspect. Le fort de Villefranche, appelé Libéria au XXe siècle, est construit après 1679. Les trois bastions sont ajoutés au XIXe siècle. L'escalier souterrain date de 1850-1856. Vendu en 1927, le fort est propriété privée ouvert au public. La Cova Bastera est aménagée en 1707, après la mort de Vauban. Vendue à un particulier en 1727, elle est aménagée en musée des dinosaures. A la fin des années 1990, Villefranche recevait 500.000 visiteurs annuels."
