Die Quelle entspringt in der Nähe der Schutzhütte und wird dann sogleich aufgestaut. In den Becken wurden früher Forellen gezüchtet. Im Hochmittelalter stand hier vermutlich eine Einsiedlerei.

The source originates near the refuge and then immediately impounded. Add to pool earlier trout were grown. In the High Middle Ages, probably a hermitage was here.
