I found this cool little town while geocaching. There is a cache here that brought me to this place and this plaque. The plaque is on the building, to the right side of the entrance way. It says, "Monterey County Historical Building Pacific Coast Steamship Company. Built in 1906 - 1907. Captain Yohn and Mealnaie Gideon. Renovated in 2003."
Year built or dedicated as indicated on the structure or plaque: 1906

Full Inscription (unless noted above):
Monterey County Historical Building Pacific Coast Steamship Company. Built in 1906 - 1907. Captain Yohn and Mealnaie Gideon. Renovated in 2003.
