This “Rose of Sharon” quilt sits proudly on the front of the livery barn in downtown Bloomfield. The barn is part of the historical complex along with a log cabin built by the Mormons on their way west. The quilt is based on a popular appliqued design first stitched by Martha Ann Church Harbour when she lived in that same log cabin sometime between 1840-60.
