This about 16 meters long steel sculpture by Franz Bernhard is located on a traffic island south of the main railway station of Lörrach.

The sculpture is called "die Sitzende" ("the sitter", or "she, who sits") or more distinct "Lörracher Sitzende", because there are other similiar, but not identical steel sculptures around with the same name; the best known maybe the "Freiburger Sitzende".
