This log cabin style bus stop shelter was completed in 2014. It gets very cold and snowy in McCloud, so this four-sided structure provides welcome shelter.

One’s first impression of this bus stop shelter is that it’s a small log cabin to wait in. There are windows providing light on the front and sides of the shelter. A bench inside is sheltered from the wind on three sides with an open doorway of the fourth. On the inside walls of the shelter is a mural scene of mountains, trees, and rivers, not unlike the nearby views. A train in the mural races past the countryside.
