Gibson Cemetery does not look like most cemeteries do today.
Over the years, seven members of the Gibson Family were buried here. For what ever reason, it appears that all graves were covered with concrete, leaving the original tombstones standing.
At some later date, a newer tombstone was erected, listing the names, date of birth, and date of death, for each family member. It also appears at the time the new tombstone was erected, or a later date, the old tombstones were cut off at the surface of the concrete slab.
