From the parking area at Todd Lake, off Cascade Lakes Highway west of Bend, travel generally NE on FR370 for about 3.5 miles. Turn left onto FR380 and continue generally NW for about 1.2 miles. Turn left onto an unnumbered road and travel 0.6 miles to the junction with a spur road, which leads toward the corner, although it peters out.
Type of survey mark: 2-1/2" brass cap on steel pipe; rising 4"

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
The corner is 1330' WSW from the spur road junction, across Crater Creek Ditch. There is a LAND SURVEY MONUMENT sign mounted on a bent-to-the-ground U-post which bears N, 3' distant. Found three mountain hemlocks each with a scribed blaze, a yellow BEARING TREE tag, and a LAND SURVEY MONUMENT sign on the reverse side. The largest, most-distant hemlock also has a nail with washer stamped PLS 2111.


What property is this mark defining?:
Deschutes National Forest; additionally, survey history is found in Deschutes County Surveyors Office, Oregon Corner Restoration Record No. 1432.
