Rockyford is a little town in south central Alberta about 75 km. east and a bit north of Calgary. It is on Township Road 263 about 8 km. east of Highway 21.

This is a large feed elevator which would buy grain directly from the farmer, grind it into various types of feed for cattle, hogs, chickens, horses and whatever else may be in the region and hungry. As large as it is, it must do a pretty good business.
Probably a wood cribbed building, it is aluminum clad and has several steel bins and tanks spread around it for extra storage.
All the grain elevators that once stood in Rockyford are gone, leaving just this feed mill as a landmark.
