Located in front of the
Ross Ragland Cultural Center is a dated plaque dedicated to business and individuals of 'Klamath Country' who helped to make this cultural center a reality. This center stands next to a former movie theater known as the
Esquire Theater, a movie theater that existed for many decades until it closed in the mid-1980s. The City of Klamath Falls purchased the building and the accompanying theater in the mid-1980s then donated it to the Ross Ragland Foundation as a permanent home to host social events.
This center is named after Ross Ragland, who was a prominent local civic leader and champion of the arts. You can read about the history of this center here.
