New town clock placed in the center of downtown New Waterford on the main street . It is located at the corner of Plummer Avenue and Smith Street and adjacent to the Royal Bank .

Town purchased by the centennial committee of New Waterford as part of the Centennial Celebrations in the former town of New Waterford in 2013 , clock was purchased and installed in July of 2014 just before the start of the annual "Coal Dust Days" celebrations . Clock is located near the same area where the former post office once stood and where the old town clock was . This clock has the ability to maintain its time in the event of power outage for several hours and also is able to adjust itself automatically for the daylight savings time . Clock is Black with gold trim and four sided with a well lighted face and roman type numerals .
