This new courthouse, completed in 2011, is now home to most judicial proceedings for Kent County Delaware. The building prominently features a front entrance with stone steps and columns. An earlier 1874 courthouse continues to host the Court of Chancery, which resolves disputes involving Delaware corporations. The new 148,600 square-foot facility was completed on budget at a cost of $75 million.
