The town of Foremost has created a very nice stone war memorial and erected it on Main Street near the centre of town.

The memorial, in the shape of a truncated obelisk, has atop it a rifle and helmet, symbolic of the grave of a soldier. Inscribed in the stone on all four sides are plaques and quotations.
