Brunberg Candy store and factory - Porvoo, Finland - Candy Stores on Waymarking.com

It all started with a bakery. Some years later Lindfords decided to try the manufacture of candies on the top of the normal bakery products. Slowly this line of business grew. Meanwhile, Lennart Brunberg, who learnt the art of candy making with the Lindfors', started his own business in 1922 and finally bought the original Lindfors’ six years later.

These days the sixth generation of the Brunbergs is slowly taking over the company management.

There is a well known shop in the center of Old Porvoo, and then this one, attached to the factory. It's very popular amongst locals and tourists.
